New Year's Special!

Happy New Year to Everyone!

I have been such a bad blogger as of late! To make that up to all my wonderful clients, Kirstin Smith Photography will be running a special through the month of January. For any 2008 clients, you can receive 30% off any 16x20 or larger enlargement from your session. This applies to 2008 clients ONLY and is not applied or used in conjunction with any other specials or canvas purchase.

Thank you all for a great 2008 and I can't wait to spend 2009 with you!

Please email me at info@kirstinsmithphotography.com with any questions you may have or to take part in our special or simply to schedule a session!

The Holidays are Fast Approaching

Are you ready? Here are just a few images of some updated jewelry pieces for this year. As in the past, these make wonderful Christmas presents. Moms and grandmoms alike love showing off their babies! Visit the website for the full line. I will try to post some Christmas card pictures in the coming days. Stay tuned for those!

And, thank you all for your patience. We have had a sick household the last couple of weeks. I think we are on the downhill side of it now! I am diligently working on your images and orders.

Big Brown Eyes

I just love his dark hair and eyes! He was such a little trooper!

I have had some wonderful parents lately who were so patient and willing to try all my ideas, and this little guys parents were some of them. I appreciate it so much when parents have made it a point to set aside enough time in an evening to really get the best out of a session. The parents' attitudes can make or break a session. When a child knows he/she can feel relaxed and not have to pose for their parents, it makes all the difference in the world. Thank you guys!

He's a doll!

Little Bundles

Some of our really good friends recently welcomed this sweet little bundle into their lives. Isn't she just precious? Such a sweet baby who literally slept the entire time. We couldn't have asked for her to have been any better. What I would give to have sleepy newborn pics of my little ones....

Saddle Up!

We recently celebrated out little ones' birthday parties at Blue Marley Cafe. If you haven't visited Jessie there - go today! She has the most wonderful coffees, desserts, muffins, breads and lunch. Please tell her I sent you!

This is the first year we have had both birthdays together, and I enjoyed it so much! Jessie took care of everything for us. Such a fun day!

Look at this spread!

Can't you just taste these cookies?!

Be Yourself....

My thought of the day:

"Embrace your uniqueness. Time is much too short to be living someone else's life."
~Kobi Yamada

If you think it applies to you, I bet it does! ;)

Be yourself. Don't copy others, don't use other's work, don't let others find the way and try to ride in on their coattails - you are only undermining yourself and the people you service.

And, on a much more positive note, take a look at this wonderful little bouquet. Our girl could get lost in a field of flowers - it is her absolute favorite thing to do! She picks flowers, she sings about flowers and she prays about flowers every night!

They Make My Heart Sing

Some Recents

With the start of school, we have become one busy family! It's a new life for our little clan - both our little ones have begun school leaving their parents to wonder just where in the world did the time go? It's seem like no time since they were warm, snuggly newborns, but now we are all about bookbags, lunchboxes and loose teeth (this one is still not sitting well with me!)!

Hopefully, I will be able to update the blog a little more frenquently now, so just bear with me. :)

Here are a few recents:

Welcome to Our New Digs!

Hello all! Thank you so much for stopping by. If you are looking for old blog posts, check them out here.

How do you all like the new look? It's been months in the making! I am so excited for it all to come together and couldn't have done it without a wonderful support system at home (thanks Ryan!).

We have some new wonderful options that I am just giddy about (in a completely nerdy way!). If you will notice on the new website, we have added a shopping cart feature to make your order process easier. It works great on both ends - you are able to see what is in your shopping cart and pay at completion, and it automatically sends me your order just like you want it. It's a win-win for all of us!

Also, with the addition of our new shopping cart, we are able to accept credit and debit cards via Paypal. Another convenient option for you! We are all about making it easier on you!

We are also announcing the addition of DVD slideshows to the lineup. These DVDs make wonderful keepsakes for your family. They will include all your images from your Gallery set to beautiful music and are meant to be played on your television. What a special way to preserve your memories for years to come! Can't you imagine looking back in years to come to see your babies' sweet faces in such a moving way - I get teary eyed just thinking about it! And, they make terrific gifts for grandparents (especially with Christmas right around the corner).

And, if you've made it this far, you're a rockstar! But I really want you to take a look at these delicious frames! Don't they look just like sherbet? This is just a sampling of our new Shabby Chic line of custom framing. You can order your images completely ready to hang. What could be easier?

Aren't they just scrumptious? If you have any questions, please send me an email. I would love to hear from you!
